(1)As dye and pharmaceutical intermediate
(2)This product is mainly used in dyeing industry for producing azoic dyes, 2-Nitro-p-anisidine, fast blue VB salt, naphthol AS-RL, naphthol AS-SG, C.I. disperse blue 79 and other dyes as well as pharmaceutical intermediates like indometacin, quinacrine, and primaquine.
(3)As complexometric indicator for measuring high iron and in organic synthesis.
